We have been doing improvements in many open source projects, specially on Nagios related code, and sometimes it's not so easy to have these codes merged into main trunk. This is normal, because each project has your own ecosystem, own rules and some radical improvements may take much time before it can be accepted. The Apache HTTP Server
The Apache HTTP Server Project is proud to announce the release of version 2.2.13 of the Apache HTTP Server ("Apache"). This version is principally a security and bugfix release. This version of Apache is a major release and the start of a new stable branch, and represents the best available version of Apache HTTP Server. New features include Smart Filtering, Improved Caching, AJP Proxy, Proxy Load Balancing, Graceful Shutdown support, Large File Support, the Event MPM, and dedicated servers refactored Authentication/Authorization. Join us at ApacheCon US 2009 for httpd.conf, a two-day conference-within-a-conference, jam-packed with great content. In addition to covering general aspects of the server, we'll also show you what's web design new in 2.2, and what's coming in the 2.4 release - SNI, dynamic configuration files, and load balancing. And in our developers' track we'll show you how to take the next step into writing your own modules.
