Unable to add New Contact from OpCfg.

Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 01/20/2010 - 16:33
  • Help

I am trying to add a new contact to our Nagios 3 server.
I run the following command first:
sudo htpasswd /usr/local/nagios/etc/htpasswd.users jdoe

I then go to OpCfg UI and select "Contacts" and proceed to update fields with users information (except pager information). The password field I select "External Authentication".

the output is: Error: add_contact failed.

Any ideas?

thanks

[root@localhost opcfg]# cd sqldata
[root@localhost sqldata]# mysql -f -u {user} -p < opcfg.sql
